Integrasi Kurikulum Lokal dalam Pengajaran: Membangun Kesadaran Geopark di Ciletuh Pelabuhan Ratu
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research examines the integration of local curriculum with learning experiences in Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu Geopark, which is a new approach in education that has not been widely researched. The purpose of this research is to understand how the integration of Geopark potential into the education curriculum can increase the relevance and attractiveness of learning for students, as well as increase their awareness of environmental conservation. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study design, which allows researchers to deeply understand educational phenomena in a local context. The results of the analysis show that this integration not only improves the quality of education, but also creates meaningful learning experiences through innovative learning methods, such as Service Learning (SL), which encourages active student engagement. The research also encourages collaboration between educators and local governments in designing a curriculum that suits local needs and opens up opportunities for the development of contextual learning resources. Key findings include the use of local teaching materials, active teaching methods, student engagement, teacher competence and constructive evaluation processes. Overall, this research confirms the importance of collaboration in designing a curriculum that is responsive to the local context and prepares students for future challenges.
